TRAILS AND PARKS

Featured in the NC Birding Trail Guidebook, this 1.7 mile trail has a lot to offer nature lovers. Highlights include Turkey Pond, a small waterfall and a stone quarry.

One of the best events to attend each year is the annual "Run with the Cows" event held in early fall.  A race where costumes are encouraged and having fun is required.

JAYCEE PARK and REIDSVILLE GREENWAY

Jaycee Park is one of the biggest in Reidsville and is connected to the Jaycee Recreational Park by a 1.1 mile.greenway.  The park features a main play unit, three basketball courts, two picnic shelters and volleyball area (with net).

Take a walk around Reidsville and explore everything from our roots in American Tobacco to an award winning downtown park that honors a lifetime leader and citizen. The Roam Reidsville Walking Trail is the best way to learn all the things Reidsville has to offer.

Haw River State Park resides in both Guilford and Rockingham counties.  Located between Reidsville and Greensboro, the park provides visitors with a perfect opportunity to connect with nature and explore their many trails.

SHERWOOD GREENWAY TRAIL

A nice, level Greenway that offers visitors an easy pace, a meandering creek and a 1.5 mile round-trip trail. This trail is already a community favorite and there are plans to expand the length even more over the next few years.

ANNIE-PENN WALKING TRAIL

This community walking trail was created to serve Annie-Penn Hospital employees and the local residents. The purpose of the trail is to promote a healthy lifestyle and encourage the community to exercise regularly.

BARNES ST PARK

This neighborhood park is great for families with young kids. It features a playground area, benches and easy walking paths.

CAMBRIDGE PARK

This neighborhood park features a main play unit, two full basketball courts, two shelters with grills and a small walking trail around the park area.

COURTLAND AVE PARK

You can get two great parks in one spot at Courtland Ave. The first park features a main play unit, double swing set with an inclusive swing, horseshoe pit and two picnic shelters with grills. Across the street is a Bird Sanctuary, located at 1101 Courtland Avenue., which provides a peaceful, shady spot for lunch.

GLENDALE PARK

This neighborhood park features a main play unit, four swings and a half court for basketball.  A great little park for an afternoon of fun.

H.K. GRIGGS PARK

This neighborhood park features a main play unit, one basketball court (or 4 half courts) and two picnic shelters (the Clay Slade Shelter and the Hoy Isaac Shelter) with grills.
